Why your business growth is not in full flow audio

Why your business growth is not in full flow

So you have an amazing business vision, you know what you want in the future but you’re business growth is not where you want it to be. Something is keeping you stuck. The annoying thing is you cannot put your finger on what this is and have no idea how to figure this out. Business growth comes from consistency and strategy, and finding your own unique way is all part of this journey.

Listen to audio version:

Day to day running of the business is really heavy duty, it sucks all your time and energy and you find there’s no time left to do the “real” work in building your business for the future – working “ON” your business rather than “IN” it.

The jigsaw puzzle in every business

Building a business is like working on a jigsaw puzzle – you need all the right pieces, in the right place at the right time. But what happens when you have a missing piece and you cannot find it. You only have a rough idea on the shape, perhaps some colour.

What do you need in order to get this puzzle finished – i.e, achieve the business growth you desire.

Motivation and belief you can do it. Perseverance (with the plan you decide on), resilience to keep going and taking action… the piece is out there, it’s a matter of time for it to show itself, right?

In business, how much time do you actually want to spend working?

You need to have some boundaries in place or you will lose focus and not get time to come up for air, refresh and recharge.

Business growth strategy

Having a clear strategy for growth in business is key. No matter how hard you look or how many freebies you download (and often keep for later – to look at and take action later – when “later” never really comes)

In the meantime not being able to figure out what’s missing in your growth strategy is tough and it can keep you stuck – you don’t know what you don’t know, right?

Here are a few questions you can ask yourself before a growth strategy is even appropriate:

  • Do you have a strong enough vision?
  • Is your vision strong enough to keep you motivated?
  • Are you deeply passionate about your vision?

If no, you need to focus on getting clarity on these.

If yes, here are the next questions to answer:

  • Do you have goals that excite you? (if not, why not?)
  • Are these goals achievable? (goals need to be realistic yet stretch you at the same time)
  • Would these goals help you make your vision a reality? (are they connected)
  • Does your growth strategy for your business connect your goals with how you operate day to day?

Your ROADMAP for a successful business

Your business is unique so why look for a standard cookie-cutter approach?

The needs of your business, you as the CEO and your future vision are truly unique so your plans and strategy for business growth should also be specific to you. What works for someone else may not work for you.

With the goals that you want to achieve “one day” it’s super important to take action today and to create that future vision. If you are unsure how to do this, then you may be missing the strategy piece of knowing what to work on when, how to connect the pathway from where you are now to where you want to be.

From getting visible to the right people so your dream clients can find you, to getting them into your world and nurturing them until they need your services. Then following through with an amazing client journey so they get the best transformation – while you have the freedom and income to make your business a sustainable one.
